Artist’s Statement:
My work takes a critical and often humorous view of social and cultural constructs—particularly where girls and women are concerned—by magnifying, questioning and often disrupting the power dynamics in relationships. I feel community with those who find stories in the things we leave behind, beauty among the damaged clutter and fascination in the marks we leave on one another’s hearts.
Tanya has studied and practiced a variety of writing disciplines, but most enjoys writing fiction and scripts.
